Food waste bins, without the flies

Food waste bins are the hardest bins to keep clean. We clean, sanitise and deodorise them on site, along with your general waste, recycling and glass bins, on a schedule that fits your collections and your service.

Why it matters

Your bins are part of your kitchen

Customers, staff and delivery drivers all walk past them. A bin area that smells or crawls with flies says something about the kitchen, however clean the kitchen is.

How it works

Cleaned on site, timed around your service

  • Done on siteOur trailer has a bin lift and its own water tank. The dirty water is collected, not left in your drains or yard.
  • Timed around collectionsWe clean straight after your bins are emptied, on a personalised schedule. Food bins often need more frequent cleans in summer.
  • No disruption to serviceWe work Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and can plan visits around your busy times.
  • A fixed priceWe quote after a free Site Visit: a fixed price per visit, plus VAT, valid for 30 days.

Questions

Food business questions

How often should food waste bins be cleaned?

It depends on how much food waste you produce and the time of year. We'll recommend a schedule at your Site Visit and time it around your collection days. Many food businesses step up the frequency in the warmer months.

Do I need a bin store for you to visit?

No. If you only have bins, we do a free Site Visit instead of a Bin Store Health Check and look at the bins themselves.

Do you clean grease traps or kitchen equipment?

No, we clean bins and bin areas only. We also clear excess waste such as cardboard and packaging through our Waste Removal service.
